This is really old, but I just feel like posting it. :I
Playing with Balls
"That's right, Tsuna, just like that." Dino laughed and guided Tsuna's arms as he swung the baseball bat in slow-motion.
Frankly, Tsuna was sure he was doing it not only way too slow to be of any use but also wrong and he had the distinct feeling that if he needed to learn baseball (for whatever reason that only Reborn knew) he should have asked Yamamoto to teach him, but Dino had volunteered and Tsuna was really bad at turning people down.
"Uhm, thanks," he said awkwardly. Dino was still standing behind him, humming, probably grinning. "But shouldn't we. I mean, the balls. Can you pitch them at me?"
Oddly enough the humming stopped to be replaced by choking.
"Wha-oh. You should try to get the right motion with the arms down first. Hitting the ball isn't as easy as it looks."
That was true, and Tsuna, being his loser self would have even more troubles with it, he felt. However it was kind of weird to have Dino stand behind him like that and he was very eager to just start doing something before the two of them got into one of Dino's incredibly impossible accidents without even moving. This way Tsuna could at least explain any injuries he might get without embarrassing himself half to death the next day.
"I think I might have gotten the grip wrong," Tsuna said, turning around. Facing doom head-on. He had gotten so brave over time. He shifted his hands on the bat. Gripping it higher seemed to make it lighter, only it also took away control. He sighed; this was useless. Yamamoto could have told him the right way. Instead he was just sliding his hands up and down the bat, while Dino was...
Looking up he saw Dino blushing profusely, trying to stare anywhere not right in front of him, right where Tsuna was, and failing.
"Haha, well...I think you're ready to hit some balls now, my cute little brother. Yes, you sure are," he stuttered and hurried to the pitcher's mound.
"Huh? Wait, my grip's not right yet," Tsuna tried to protest, but Dino assured him it was fine, perfectly fine in something approaching a squeak, so he let it go.
Predictably, the first ball Dino pitched at him hit Tsuna's forehead.
