Introduction to the Story + A/N

Summary: The last thing Maya expected was falling for Zig Novak. For as long as she can remember, all she ever wanted was for him to move on. But now as time went by, the tables have finally turned! Zig realizes he will never be anything more than Maya's second choice, so he gives up waiting for her and finds comfort in Zoe. Meanwhile, Maya is "happy" with Miles until she spots Zig and Zoe together and is ...jealous? "I didn't realize how much I liked him until it was too late." Zaya fic! :)
A/N: This scenario has been on my mind since FOREVER :P I also never thought I would ever write a fanfic again :3 But an anon on tumblr requested one so I'm writing again! :D I feel like something like this on the show should happen. Maya is never going to learn to appreciate Zig until she is in his shoes and pines after HIM. I've always wanted an episode where Zig moves on to Zoe or a waitress at the restaurant and Maya gets jealous again. And in the end, she realizes Zig has been here all along and she was stupid to not see it.
So, this is my first fanfic in 3 years so I'm sorry if it's bad :/ It's easier to just imagine it then writing it. Be sure to R&R to tell me how I'm doing or to give suggestions ^-^ Wow. I ramble a lot... on to the story!
