Chapter 1: THE PROJECT
In the year 2020, a vote for the use of a child soldier program was approved by the Global Government. The official project was titled "Refitting". Orphan children were gathered together, housed in a secret government facility and trained in all forms of combat.
Many of the children never made it past 10 years old. The kids that died were counted as MIA. The kids that lost their mind were placed into a chamber that erased their memories and put back into the orphanage. The kids that drained their emotions had to learn how to use replicated emotions. The ones that made it through the refitting process without damage were called "Perfect Child Soldier" or P.C.S. for short.
Most of the world's population decided to abandon the project after one year. Lock it deep in memory and leave it alone because the project was way too inhumane. The Global Government disagreed and kept the project alive. Some of the civilians formed an underground resistance group and went after the project to shut it down permanently.
