Author's Note: I don't own Dragonball Z. This is written for the FanFiction High-School Never Ends - big challenge, since Piccolo was an anti-hero, during the beginning of DBZ.

Piccolo stood next to Dende on the Lookout. With the threat of Majin Buu, all of the Z Fighters, and their families, were moved to the Lookout. Dende and Mr. Popo were glad to welcome guests, since there were few visits during the more recent, peaceful years. Piccolo, on the other hand, couldn't wait for everyone to leave. Roshi was being himself, which got strange looks from everyone, even the children. Piccolo watched as Krillin and Yamcha's game of cards was interrupted by Krillin's wife, 18. Piccolo smirked, as he watched 18 practically shove their daughter into Krillin's arms and told him to find some food for her. Bulma was checking on ChiChi, who remained unconscious. Goten and Trunks were in the corner sparring, not bothering to hide their saiyan heritage.

It was pretty easy to tell who the young boy's fathers were, simply from the children's attitudes. Trunks could be just as arrogant as Vegeta, and he was pretty strong for his age, even Piccolo couldn't deny it. Goten was almost identical to the way Goku was at that age, in attitude and appearance. Piccolo had heard Dende saying that everything would be different in the future, but Piccolo had a completely different opinion. Trunks would carry on his father's legacy, and his mother's intelligence. Goten and Gohan would both carry on Goku's legacy. Piccolo couldn't help but wonder if Krillin and 18's daughter, Marron, would become a martial artist, like both of her parents. If she would, that would be at least four people that would have their origins from the Z Fighters.

Even if Dende was the Earth's guardian, he couldn't predict everything, but Piccolo doubted that there would be anything to worry about once the Buu horror ended.
