The calming and refreshing sensation of water relaxes her body and her mind from the terrible heat of the summer.

'Ahh...' Matsuoka Gou, manager of the swim club, sighs contently. She sends ripples in the calm water with her hand causing tiny waves in the water of the pool. Her other club mates, all except Haruka-senpai who was still swimming in his own lane, were washing up after practice while she preferred to stay awhile in the pool to relax. It felt good to just let the waves of the pool caused by its other occupant to move her around the wide expanse. She looks at the clear blue of the water and the distorted shape of her feet underwater. The blue of the swimming pool reminds her of the deep blue orbs of the pool's other occupant.

'As deep a blue as the sea.' She thinks while watching her own flaming red hair freely move around her. She glances up toward the lane from where the larger waves and ripples are coming from. She watches the form of her senior as he glides freely along the lane without a care in the world.

'Just like a dolphin.' She thinks and she smiles to herself. 'It's about time for me to start showering or else I won't be able to help Mom cook dinner.' She swims over to the edge of the pool and climbs the ladder.

"Haruka-senpai! It's time that you get out of there and shower already." She calls. He just looks up at her and continues to swim. She shakes her head bemusedly. She leaves a dry towel for him to use when he gets out and grabs her own towel as she starts off for the girl's locker rooms. Little does she know of the deep blue eyes that watch her retreating form.

-Red and Blue-

Nanase Haruka removes his goggles and climbs up the ladder at the edge of the pool. He grabs the towel their manger had left for him and he walks over to the boy's locker rooms to have a quick shower and change.

He walks home with the rest of the swim club and nods at those he parts ways with before he and Makoto head on home. He takes one last glimpse at the flowing red hair in the signature ponytail that their manager always wore and turned back to the street they were walking on, oblivious to the ramblings of his best friend and keeps in mind the shade of red Kou's hair was like, remembering the fact that he could always see it again tomorrow.

-Red and Blue-

Makoto glances at his friend worriedly before he smiles. He knows what's going on his friends mind and he stops talking and instead stares at the red colors of the sunset.
