Author's note:Hi! Me again! I'm still trying to write more to the Alice of Human Sacrifice story..... but I seem to not have any ideas....TT__TT
I will write more to it though, I promise!
In the meantime though, enjoy this one-shot!!
The poem belongs to me, but Konan, Madara, and Pain don't!! It belongs to Masashi Kishimoto!
Enjoy!
"I yearn to touch the sky
to feel the wind in my grasp
just to forget about the world's lies
and float among the clouds.
My tainted hands are too dirty to achieve that dream
that place I can never reach
Only if I can sprout out wings and glide away,
leaving all my guilt back on the ground
Oh! What a wondrous feeling that will be!
Day after days, week after weeks, year after years,
the sky's gentle, quiet whispers call out to me
to get off the ground, from mankind's chains
and fly along with the birds.
And yet, sin is everywhere, a plaque sickening everyone
exultant and benevolent feelings
are all but a hallucination
to the conflicts everywhere, no one can escape it.
Sad but true truth; Don't try to avoid it.
To leave that fate by emerging anew with wings that can fly
like a phoenix would rise from the ashes.
And for eternity frolic with the clouds in the sky
like small children playing in a field.
A never ending dream, that will be.
One can only sit and stare in envy
at the birds in the sky that can fly with ease
While we stay on the ground, as arrogant as ever
without wings that can escape anything like they do."
"Hey Konan, what are you writing?"
Pain looked in Konan's room and found her sitting in one corner, quietly writing on a piece of paper.
"Huh! Oh, you startled me!" Konan said and put the piece of paper off to one side.
"Ah. Just came here to tell you that Madara wants us to do a mission. I'll meet you up at Madara's place." Pain said, then headed off to where Madara was.
"Okay." Konan said.
Paper started to come off her body and gather up to form wings on her back. Konan then flew into the night time sky. Konan smiled to herself.
Oh, the world was a very sinful place, and no one could escape that. But she believed that the Akatsuki can bring peace to the nations, and that everyone wouldn't need to worry about having to run away from danger at every corner, like she, Pain, and Nagato did.
"But if we stop sinning then maybe, just maybe, we won't need to wish for wings to fly away from sin anymore."
Yup, that is the end..XD Reiviews please!
