-The Problem with Assumptions-

William Schuester walked into Principal Figgin's office - mentally sighing at his luck – with great trepidation. It seemed that every second day one of his Glee students did something wrong. He could never remember being so rowdy when he was younger.

He opened the door to reveal Figgins, Sue and a crying Kurt. What had that, that bitch done to put such a strong boy into this state? This was definitely her fault.

"Sue, what have you done to my student?" he bit out.

Sue glared back at him hatefully. "He's my Cheerio, he's not just your student, Schuester."

Kurt sniffed into his blue and purple handkerchief miserably.

Something inside of him cracked, he was so sick of Sue always being so horrible. "You have done something to one of my students! What did you do Sue? What did you do!" he roared.

As he breathed to try and calm himself he dimly realized that Figgin's was now glaring at him and Kurt's sobs had just gotten louder. This was Sue's fault, what had he done?

"Principal Figgins, why do you keep letting this, this devil's incarnate of a woman teach those stupid, anorexic Cheerios of hers? She only ever hurts people. She. Is. Evil!"

"Shut up Schuester." Kurt's voice did nothing to show that he still had tears running down his face. "You don't know anything and yet you blame Coach Sylvester."

"Well? What happened?" Schuester demanded to know, looking from Kurt, to Sue to finally letting his gaze to rest upon Figgins, who was desperately motioning for Schuester to stop talking immediately.

"Oh William, you just shoved your foot so far down your own proverbial throat. You just go and wreck all your relationships all, by, yourself." Sue sneered at him. Will's lip twitched when he heard Sue mutter under her breath, "just like what happened with your ex and your germ-freak bambi."

"What… What is going on?" he finally managed to croak out in a semblance of forced calm, looking around in confusion.

"My dad had, had an…," Kurt stopped to muffle a sob, "accident at the shop. He, he… he's in a coma." Kurt's eyes once again began to overflow with tears as his voice wavered.

'Oh god,' Will thought as he watched Kurt once again break down. He had just made a major fool out of himself… once again.

Sue glared at him before pointing to him once and then making a motion by pretending to shove her fist down her own throat.
