Maddy and Rhydian were running through the woods. It was Saturday and the sun was out. They could hear the birds chirping all around. Then suddenly they heard a twig snap. Rhydian protectively guarded Maddy. Alric emerged from behind a nearby tree.
"Well, well, "said Alric," Look what we have here."
"What do you want Alric!?" questioned Rhydian.
"I want revenge!" said Alric.
"Well you won't get it, because my pack will be here any second!" shouted Maddy.
" Oh really," Alrci said," Now!"
Out of nowhere Aran and Meinier jumped from behind a tree, that was opposite of the direction that Maddy and Rhydian were facing. Maddy and Rhydian turned around. Before Rhydian could react Meinier grabbed Maddy and Aran held a knife to her throat. Rhydian started to growl and before he could make a move Alric grabbed hold of Rhydian.
"Rhydian!" yelled Maddy.
"Alric! Let me go!" shouted Rhydian.
" No!" shouted Alric, " I've lost everything now it's your turn."
With a single nod of the head from Alric, Aran pressed the knife deeper on Maddy's throat. Her eyes were filled with worry and sadness, but no tear fell from her eyes.
