Title: The Human Invasion
Summary: Sophie and the gang are still fighting with the Neverseen and the Neverseen had just recruited new members that made new elixirs which would make the elves' talents dormant for a few days. How will Sophie and the gang fight it? How is life like for them as humans in the Elvin world?
Story:
"Sophie! The collective is waiting downstairs!" Biana shouted through the door as Sophie rushed to do her hair. She knew beforehand that they were going to have a meeting, but Biana, Fitz, Dex, Keefe, Tam, and Linh all came early. So, she was busy with them. Sophie quickly rushed down stairs where everyone was waiting for her.
"Sorry! I- I took too long." She said tugging at a loose eye lash.
"It's okay." Everyone said simultaneously. Well, everyone except the collective, they just nodded.
"The reason I called for a meeting is because we got information that the Neverseen recruited two new members. Well technically three, if you count the human." Forkle finished when everyone gasped. A human? Recruited to the Neverseen?
"But why would they recruit a human?" Fitz asked just as confused as Sophie.
"You kids, thinking we know everything. We do not know why or who was recruited, but we did gather information that one of the elves recruited, is a Flasher." Mr. Forkle retorted.
"I think I know how we can find out which Flasher was recruited." Keefe said with a suspicious look. Sophie raised her eyebrows, she never thought Keefe was an idea person.
"Really, Mr. Sencen?" Tiergan said. He looked just as surprised as Sophie.
"Yeah! All we have to do is go to all the flashers and say that we need their help in the Black Swan." Keefe said.
"But we don't." Tam said rolling his eyes.
"Yeah…but we can just act like we do and whoever out of the Flashers seems the most happy or pleased to do it is probably the new member." Keefe continued.
"That's a bit of a long-shot." Sophie said, thinking about it.
"Yeah, but I think that's about really the only thing we can do right now." Linh said.
"Okay." Fitz said.
"All right, fine. I will give you kids the list of the Flashers by tomorrow." Mr. Forkle said. And with that the collective glittered away.
"Do you guys want to do something? We're going to get the list tomorrow anyway." Biana said already running to Sophie's room.
"I think that was rhetorical." Keefe said following. Soon, everyone was clumped up in Sophie's room.
"Do you guys want to play Future Stories?" Sophie asked without thinking.
"Sure. What is it?" Linh asked.
"Yeah, what is it? Like do we make theories of our future or something?" Keefe asked along with Linh.
"Close, but it could also be things, committees, and yes people. So, like when it's someone's turn, the rest of the group picks something and they must make a theory about it's future and then we all rate it on how realistic it could be meaning how big of a chance it has to actually happen. Whoever has the highest rating wins." Sophie explained.
"All right! I call going first!" Biana squealed.
"Okay, so what 'thing' do you guys want to give her?" Fitz asked everyone.
"Hmm…The future of Tam and Biana!" Sophie said. Linh grinned, Keefe smirked, Fitz had a sly smile, and Biana and Tam's faces were red.
"YES!" Everyone except Tam and Biana shouted simultaneously.
"Ugh, fine. Um, so what do you guys think will likely happen?" Biana asked shyly.
"it's not our turn it's yours!" Keefe said.
"Oh, um okay. Best rating here we come. Me and Tam um realize that we could be more than just friends?" Biana said cringing right after she said it.
"That's it?! It's supposed to be a full-blown story!" Fitz shouted.
"Oh, uh…Then I guess we try? And um yeah." Biana said her face turning red.
"Ugh fine. I'll take it." Sophie said with a mischievous grin.
"So… um ratings?" Biana asked.
"Tam, go first brother." Linh said slyly.
"Uh, oh um. Out of 10?" Tam asked as everyone nodded. "9" He said quietly. Everyone except Tam and Biana burst out laughing happy to get Tam to indirectly admit his crush. Biana smiled, but then said
"Hey! We're still playing the game!"
"Okay, I think 10!" Linh said.
"5" Dex said quietly. Everyone turned to where he was sitting. In the back. Poor Dex, Sophie thought. She couldn't believe she forgot about her best friend!
"Dex! I-I um ok. I think 6…" Sophie said trying to be supportive on both sides. Biana gave her a questioning look and frowned, but still continued on to Fitz.
"8" Fitz said rolling his eyes.
"Meh. I don't want Bangs Boy to be that happy. I mean look at his face! Sorry Biana, but 6. Foster's." Keefe said.
Just before they could move on to the next person, Edaline burst through the door and said
"I think, Mr. Forkle knows who the member is."
