The world of Pokemon…
As each region makes new discoveries, the others turn obsolete. For example, the improvement of technology brought Sinnoh into view and the growth of cities and more urban technology made Unova the spotlight. But now, a new discovery has been made in a wallflower region. Not even the greatest of professors could have made the discovery that a long unknown professor made. This professor was Francis Elyse, and his discovery…
"Breaking news tonight, Professor Elyse of Fluoresce city has published his most recent discovery. On display in the museum in Terrais city is a meteor that crashed through the center of the mountain that makes up most of the region. Now I don't want to ruin the museum's business but I will tell you this, some new Pokemon will be seen very soon."
This was five years ago, when I was nine years old. That was the summer when I was about to get my first Pokemon. I couldn't get it due to all the Pokemon professors in the region rushing to Fluoresce. My name is Charlie. I'm fourteen and quite small for my age. I have brown hair and eyes and my skin tans easily.
This meteor that fell in the region did a lot of damage actually. You see, Tabras is a giant island. The main geographic feature of it is the large mountain dead in the center. There are some towns and a little bit of cities around the mountain. But because the mountain is so large and stable, there are cities, yes cities, inside of the mountain. When the Elyse meteor, as they call it, crashed through the mountain, it broke through Fluoresce city, Dusoir city and Terrais city (It landed right in the center of the town in the museum so almost no damage was down because the museum is already a meteor crash site. Despite this, towers were still knocked over in Fluoresce and Dusoir city. '
The good thing that came out it was that a new type of Pokemon was created. The type is called the Space Type. Research has been done and its type effectiveness charts are really weird. It is super effective against ground and dark types but psychic and rock are super effective against it. Ground won't affect it but it won't affect itself either. Along with its discovery, Professor Janet Canon of Saille city has used DNA from the space type to create a machine that allows Pokemon to evolve…sideways. I really want to get what it means but I guess I'll wait for my journey to take me that far!
Speaking of which, my journey is supposed to start tomorrow. After I eat breakfast, I'll walk over to the Town hall and sign papers. Then I'll head over to the Pokemon research lab of our local professor, Benga Alderson, to pick my Pokemon. I can't wait for tomorrow to come. I wonder which Pokemon I'll get.
Could it be a dragon type like Dratini or Deino? Or maybe a bug type like Venipede or Wurmple. Or my I could get a Pokemon like Ghastly or Scraggy, of one of the supernatural types of ghost and dark. I guess I'll just have to see in the morning.
Hello guys! I'm starting up again on writing and hopefully this will be a permanent story that I can keep going steady. So basically, this is my story of a new version of Pokemon. I purposely left many things in this chapter vague. This is so you will be surprised when you see it. This story will cover my ideas, philosophies and personal experiences I've in Pokemon games in a new story…except…you know…my name isn't Charlie XD!
