100 short drabbles. A short series. :) Enjoy. Hope this makes up for my quit in my last stories. They are all AU's (most of them anyways).
1. Introduction
She is a redhead in the middle of browsing through books in the bookstore and he is quietly gazing at her with interest with headphones perched on his shoulders. The breeze of the autumn leaves wallow in the spacious library and flows through the tick tock of the clock. He is lounging in a nearby chair as he mindlessly flips through his magazine, eyes trained on her. She is wearing a wool sweater, messy hair in a neat bun and glasses on the rim of her nose. She looks from book to book, amused and often delighted. Adding each book to her ever growing pile. She is a walking bookworm and he decides then, he likes her.
He is the complete opposite. He does not fancy books as much as he fancies walking in every Thursday and gazing at her. He does not know anything about her except her love for books and that she is beautiful. He loves her smile. It's been like this for several weeks, him stumbling upon this bookstore, just to find a quiet place to drink his coffee and work and he sees her. Every Thursday, she is there, smiling away and he comes back every Thursday just to catch a glimpse of her face.
He decides then and there that gazing is not enough as he takes off his headphones and brushes a hand through his hair. He stands up and pushes away from the table, slinging his bag over his shoulder and heads in her direction.
She looks up.
The smell of autumn leaves pile through the window and the tick tock of clock resonates in the room. The rustles of books and the smell of coffee fills the room. Footsteps echo against the creaky wooden floor. People are typing away on their laptops and flipping pages after pages.
A perfect time for an introduction.
