Lucy's POV
"Geez, that was a long day!" I exclaim as I raise my hands over my head as I stretch.
"Yeah, Asuka had us running all over the place today." Natsu adds in as he walks next to me. Happy decided to go straight home and Natsu said that he wanted to walk me home. He probably just wants to raid my fridge.
"I know, but I had a fun time. You know you'll make a great father someday." I compliment as I look up at the stars in the sky. I notice face flush a little and I smile.
"Well, Igneel taught me that you have to make some sacrifices to make little kids happy, even if it means ruining your reputation." Natsu states. I'm a bit taken back. "Lucy, what's wrong?"
"It's nothing. I'm just a bit surprised is all. Igneel must have been a great father." I state.
"It also depends on who the mother is. I think you'd make a great mother Lucy." Natsu compliments. I feel my face start to flush and I look at the river./p
"Wh-wh-what are you talking about?! M-me a mother?!" I fluster.
"Come on Luce! You love to read and write and I bet you could tell your kids great stories! You're also really kind and caring. You let me and Happy sleep in your apartment even if you're fed up with us." Natsu compliments. My face is probably as red as a tomato. The timing couldn't have been any better cause I could see my apartment a few feet away. We stop in front of the doors to my apartment building.
"Thanks for walking me home Natsu." I thank.
"Anytime." Natsu states. He turns around and starts to walk home. I turn and grab the door handle to the building. "Oh wait! I forgot something!" I turn around and Natsu lightly jogs back to me.
"What is it?" I question.
"I forgot to do something that Asuka asked me to do earlier." Without a second's delay, his hand was hold my face and his lips were pressed against mine. I'm in too much shock to do anything. I gently return the kiss. Natsu separates.
"Goodnight Lucy." Natsu states. He turns back around and walks home. I sink to my knees and I cover my mouth. I look at Natsu as he's walking away.
"Goodnight Natsu."
