Welcome Back, Alice
Chapter One: Welcome Back, Alice
It had been seven years since she had been to this horrible place. Seven years since her life changed and her childhood ended.
Since her first visit to Wonderland. When she was only six, Alice had come back every day. It wasn't until she was ten, that she told her father about her friends and adventures in the place where right is wrong and wrong is right, that she had to stop her visits.
After "Daddy Dearest" forbid Alice to go to Wonderland, Alice had no dreams. She dreamt of nothing. It wasn't until she was thirteen that she began to dream again, but this time, it was of a much, much darker place.
The sky was a bloodred, the wind whipped her blonde curls across her face. She tried vigorously to keep warm, but to no avail. Suddenly, a hand was on her waist.
Alice's eyes shot open. A very drunken Mr. Liddel stood over ALice. His pants undone, and a grin on his face, he moved his hand across her stomache.
"D- Daddy?!" Alice shot up, her eyes stricken with horror.
"Now, now, Alice, be a good girl. Sh...we don't want to wake Mommy, do we?"
Without waiting for Alice to respond, he moved to continue stroking the child's thigh. Alice silently cried as her father continued on to rape her.
Soon, it had become a regular nightly ritual. The cycle continued until Alice got her monthlies. When Mr. Liddel first heard of his daughter's "first step into womanhood", he was furious. It was when
Mrs. Liddle informed him that Alice was not his real daughter that he continued on again, and trouble started up again for Alice.
When Alice was sixteen, she was asked out on a date by a boy from school. Her father beat her in a fit of rage. Alice told her mother she fell down the stairs.
Finally, she could take no more. It was her seventeenth birthday party, and she and her father were talking on the balcony above the ballroom. (Alice always hated their home. It was the twenty-first century, why did they need a freakin' castle anyways?)
"I'll give you your present tonight, sweety," Mr. Liddel cooed softly in her ear.
Alice's shakey hands shoved against his chest and Mr. Liddel flew over the balcony, falling two stories onto the concrete floor. Alice told everyone he jumped, and managed to choke out a few tears. That very night, she returned to the place she loved and hated so much.
That night, Alice Liddel returned to Wonderland.
"Welcome back, Alice," Purred an all-too-familiar voice.
CrimsonShadows: Ok, tell me what you think everyone. If I get enough reviews, I'll continue the story, if not, I'll end it now and delete it. And, I'm sorry this chapter is so short, I haven't written anything in a long time. Thank you all my reviewers, you rock my world. Peace out!
