Author Note: This is about a month after "Tales from a Not-So-Happy Heartbreaker", and Nikki and Brandon aren't a couple yet, but they will be later in the story. Also, Nikki might be a little OOC, she'll be a bit more mature than in canon.

Monday, March 3

OMG! It's been a few weeks since the Sweetheart Dance, and Brandon and I are closer than ever! This Saturday we're going to triple date with Chloe and Zoey! It's going to be fantastic! I can't wait.

Chloe and Zoey are coming over for a sleepover on Friday, and Chloe promised to bring all of her favorite romance novels. Zoey (way surprisingly) said she'd bring makeup for us to try on!

I'm so excited, all my parents allow me to wear is boring old lip gloss. Bring on blush and eye shadow!

Oh my god! There's a new guy at WCD! I haven't seen him yet, but apparently (according to the CCP's), he is so cute and hot and blah blah blah blah.

Personally, I think gossiping about him is going to make his day harder, I should know. I remember when I was the new girl. God, it was terrifying. Walking in and feeling all those stares on me. Almost gave me nightmares!

Time for Bio, now I can meet Brandon! He's been working in the newspaper office during lunch this week. I'll write more later!

OMG. I think I'm in shock. What just happened? I just can't understand! Let me start from the beginning.

I walk into Bio, and there's a new sitting in the back row. It's obvious that all the girls (even Mackenzie) are checking him out. I slyly examine him from the corner of my eye.

He's got this exotic look, with bright blue eyes and black hair. And I mean really black. It was darker than this ink!

Just before the bell rang, Brandon walked in as the teacher ordered us to make partners and sit two to a table.

I waved at Brandon, but before he could sit down, the new guy sat down next to me! I watched as the teacher made Brandon sit next to Chloe. I was so confused!

I looked at the new guy, he seemed kind of shy. I introduced myself, and guess what? His name is Nyle Motts! The first thing I noticed was that we have the same initials! NM! How cool is that?!

So I pointed this out to him and he laughed, saying he was lucky he sat next to me. Apparently his grandmother had told him that same initials were good luck!

Nyle seemed really nice so I invited him to sit with my friends at lunch. As he said yes, Mackenzie came up and said "Hey Nyle, why don't you (hair flip)come sit with me at lunch? (big toothy grin)"

Nyle seemed pretty uncomfortable and he actually declined! Just then, the teacher said "If you are so keen on moving around, Miss Mackenzie, please come up to the front of the room and explain why."

I have never seen Mackenzie move that fast back to her seat. I thought she loved attention. She was certainly immature enough to want it.

OMG! So crazy! At lunch, I introduced Nyle to Chloe, Zoey, and Brandon. (Marcy was out sick with a cold). Chloe and Zoey seemed to like Nyle just fine, but Brandon kept glaring at him! I was kind of shocked, because Brandon doesn't really get mad, he's really laid back.

It might have to do with the fact that Nyle was sitting in his seat.. But Brandon had arrived late, I don't know why he's so upset..
