Simply a silly one shot.
"Fred!" I heard the loud shriek of my name the second I stepped foot in the common room with George. Ah, my adoring fans. I looked to see Hermione Granger stomping towards me a full force, glare on her face and wand at the ready. Well, shit.
"Yes, Granger?" I asked putting on my best charming Weasley grin and 'who me?' innocent look. To be quite honest, I had no idea what I'd done wrong.
"YOU!" She was yelling now, poking me in the chest with her wand, "Testing...on...first years?" Each word a new hit. Oh yes...that.
"Owe, Granger. I'm not a bloody piƱata, relax." She stopped and stopped hitting me but waited for an answer, "I may or may not have tested on a few first years." This was a flat out lie, of course. George and I had nearly tested on all of the Hufflepuff first years. It looked like someone just lined them up and knocked them down. Half of them had bloody noses thanks to our Nosebleed Nougat while the other half couldn't stop puking thanks to our Puking Pastilles.
"A few?" She shrieked, throwing her arms up in frustration, "The Hospital wing is filled to the brim with students sick from your products. I won't stand for it another moment, Fred!"
Ah, there was the lovely Hermione Granger we all know and love. She was the cutest stick in the mud I'd ever seen. Knowing Granger she'd complain about our testing but never actually do any real damage. "What are you going to do if I don't stop?" I asked with a teasing grin. Hermione didn't laugh.
"I'll write to your mother." I froze. That was it. It was the end for George and I. If Mum ever found out what our plans were she'd kill us. Liquefy our bones and boil our kidneys. "Granger...you can't."
"You're not going to stop me," She said with a huff, tossing her hair back and crossing her arms, "I could very well write to her right now." Hermione had her prefect face on and was using her I-know-it-all tone. It was similar to the tone she used when scolding Ron but no matter how mad she got nothing bad ever happened.
"You could, but you won't." I said smirking a bit as I looked down at her. A blush crept onto her face and her glare remained.
"Why's that?" She asked. Hermione looked ready to tell me off at any second. I thought for a moment before leaning in and laughed quietly. Her glare faded as a look of confusion crossed her face, she froze.
"You like me too much, Granger." I felt a rush of Gryffindor courage and I pressed a quick kiss to her lips. I pulled away and winked at the shocked girl before me. Hermione's mouth dropped open yet she said nothing. "I'll think about not testing on those first years. I'll see you later, love!"
I walked away leaving behind a very shocked prefect. I walked up the stairs towards my dormitory in search of my twin. I opened the door, saw him, and said without a word of greeting, "We're going to have to test on a lot more first years, Georgie. Hermione's starting to pay attention."
