Uh-oh I'm getting into doing drabbles!! Oh well. I like Looking into the relationship of these two.

'A sister can be seen as someone who is both ourselves and very much not ourselves -
a special kind of double.'
- Toni Morrison

He stares down at her as she crouches beside the stream, and tries to think of the similarities between them. Similarities usually induce some sort of conversation, and it is so hard to talk to her sometimes.

Surprisingly, she speaks first and her voice is blunt. "What do you want?"

He does not understand her, and she does not understand him. First similarity.

"Geez, I just came to talk, no need to get so wound up."

"Talk?' she replies. "About what? I have nothing to say to you."

He despairs. Perhaps she hates him. Perhaps she is hinting.

"Would you rather I go then?" he says a little crossly, and nothing really makes him cross.

She shrugs. She still has not turned to him.

Their manners are not very good. Second similarity.

He sees no point in pursuing the subject further but is intent on staying.

"Do you like it here?"

She throws twigs and dirt into the stream and evasively replies, "It is different."

They share the same brother. Third similarity.

"Are you sad because Kuja is dead?"

"Why would I be?"

"Because… because he is your brother."

She stands and turns to him, angry now.

"Must you burden me with such useless banter? What care you of my feelings for a dead genome?"

"You might be sad."

"And if I am?"

"Are you?"

"No."

They are both stubborn. Fourth similarity.

"Then there is nothing left for me to say," he tells her.

"Good," she snaps. "Go away then."

He considers and lingers. It is so difficult talking to her but he wants to win her over because… because…

"I want to look out for you,' he tell hers. "You don't have to push me away like this. It makes me angry that you wont speak to me, sometimes."

"You make me angry with your endless chattering."

They both make each other angry. Fifth similarity.

"I'm making the effort, so why can't you? What do you have against me?"

She turns her back on him. "You could never understand…"

"Try me."

There is a pause and in it they can hear the trickle of the stream and the whisper of the leaves. An owl hoots from somewhere nearby.

"I don't know what to do, now," she says finally. Her voice is strained. "Terra is no more. Kuja is no more and you are no Angel of Death. Garland's plans for me never prevailed. I am… at a loss. What am I now?"

He can think of one more similarity.

"You are my sister."
