1Cutie Muffin

(Nick's POV)

They reappeared right in front of Root Core. "Hey Nick we're over here!" Vida shouted. I ran over to them.

"Are you guys okay?"

"Yeah we're fine. You didn't surrender did you?" Chip asked.

"Would I be here if I did?"

"Good point." I gave him and Xander a brotherly hug.

"I'm glad you guys are safe."

"Thanks mate."

"Hey! What about us?" Vida asked pointing to herself and her sister Madison. I gave Vida a quick hug.

"Sorry."

(Narrator's POV)

Nick walked up to Maddie and she put her arms around his neck and he wrapped his arms around her waist. Chip, Vida, and Xander walked into Root Core deciding to give the two clueless lovebirds some privacy.

"I'm really glad you're okay Maddie." Nick said tightening his hold on her. She buried her face into the crook of his neck. "Maddie?" she looked up into his eyes and he brought a hand up to caress her cheek.

"Yes?"

"Promise me you won't do anything like that again." He practically whispered.

"Never do what again?" she asked him, never breaking eye contact.

"Take a hit like that."

"Nick I'm a power ranger I have to do stuff like that."

"I almost lost you once; I won't lose you again, especially if it's my fault." She stared at him questioningly.

"What do you mean it's your fault?"

"Well there was today and when you got turned to stone. If I hadn't said those things to you before then you wouldn't have turned to stone. And you were trying to protect me today."

"Nick that was my choice."

"Why?"

"Because I can't stand to lose you either." She placed a hand on his cheek with tears in her eyes. Then he leaned in and captured her lips. Little did they know there three friends and everyone from this dimension were watching them.

"You know you never told me if I should call you Nick or Bowen." She mused randomly.

"Well everyone here calls me Bowen accept Phinnies. He calls me a bunch of names." Nick chuckled. "And your sister and everyone else call me Nick, but you can call me whatever you want."

"Okay. How about cutie muffin?" she giggled. Nick just laughed.

"Anything but that." She smiled and gave him a kiss.

"I like Nick." Now he gave her a kiss.

"Well I love Maddie." He smiled brightly at her and her smile grew. He leaned down to her and kissed her passionately.

"I love you to." She whispered against his lips.

I know it's a little stupid, it sounded better in my head. Tell me what you think. I made a few corrections.
