Now that it's all said and done, I can't believe you were the one

To build me up and tear me down like an old abandoned house

What you said when you left, just left me cold and out of breath

I felt if I was in way to deep, guess I let you get the best of me

The lyrics rang in the back of Kelly's mind as she walked around the backstage area of the arena. She knew that it was a mistake to let Chris go, but he wasn't going to keep her after she cheated on him. Her actions earned her hate from Christopher, and even from her co workers. Everywhere she went, she got looks, and she hated it. She just wanted to die sometimes.

Well, I never saw it coming, I should have started running

A long, long time ago

And I never thought I'd doubt you, I'm better off without you

More than you, more than you know

Over time, Kelly had convinced herself that she was better without Jericho. She told herself that she'd find somebody better, and the true was, she wasn't going to. Jericho was the best thing that ever happened to her, and she threw it away on one night of fun. One night of risk. Cheating wasn't worth losing the love of her life.

I'm slowly getting closure, I guess it's really over

I'm finally getting better

And now I'm picking up the pieces, spending all of these years

Putting my heart back together

The relationship was certainly over, Chris had made it clear that he didn't want her back. The fowl words he directed towards her, were enough to make her see her mistake. They were enough to see that she ruined the one good thing that had ever happened to her.

'Cause the day I thought I'd never get through

I got over you

The lyrics kept playing, and soon Kelly began sobbing her heart out. She was never going to get over Chris, but yet the song was like a reminder that she needed to. It was like it was telling her to move on.

You took a hammer to these walls, dragged the memories down the hall

Packed your bags and walked away, there was nothing I could say

And when you slammed the front door shut, a lot of others opened up

So did my eyes so I could see that you never were the best for me

The horrible memory of Chris walking out the door with his belongings in hand, broke her heart. She did everything to stop him from leaving, but her everything wasn't enough. She wasn't able to give him what he wanted, what he needed. He had his heart set on never seeing her again. That was something he was surely going to do.

Well, I never saw it coming, I should have started running

A long, long time ago

And I never thought I'd doubt you, I'm better off without you

More than you, more than you know

As the blonde continued traveling down the hall, her eyes suddenly became glued to blonde figure chatting with Trish Stratus. "Chris.." Kelly whispered, wanting to run over to him. She knew that if she did, he'd only reject her. K2J was no more.

Kelly stayed focused on their conversation, trying to figure out what they were talking about. Were they talking about the break up? Dancing? What? She wanted to know, but there was no way to get over to them without being seen. A sudden movement caught Kelly's eye, and the tears built up again. Chris leaned in close and kissed Trish directly on the lips. The old romance had rekindled.

The blonde slid down the wall, and held her head in her hands. She never meant to hurt him, it was just a stupid mistake. Now she had to see him with another woman, she didn't know if she could do that with a straight face. Kelly turned her attention back to Chris and Trish, only to see them walk away hand in hand. "I love you." The blonde whispered, letting the tears stream down her cheeks. That was the last she would ever see Chris.
