When an angel cries
Someone must die
When an angel cries
The clouds cry with it
When tears drop
Someone's heart stops
When there are tears that fall
Someone has to fall with it
When there are sobs to be heard
There is a sacrifice of a bird
When there are sobs to be wept
Its over something that someone stole and kept
What is to make of this you see?
Simply peace and tranquility
Cause when an angel cries
it is a wounded dove
Floating up there in the skies above
And when an angel cries
It cries tears of gold
only humans cry tears of mold
When tears drop
Angels cant stop
And when there's tears that fall
There is nothing at all
And when there are sobs to be heard
It's a song of such elegant words
The angel cries
For the peace of the land
Caressing it in their snow white hands
These angels fly above us
Beating their wings
Hoping for a newborn in the spring
An angel cries
When all faith dies
Now only a few remain
That still have faith
Even though they were put in jail
Those people saw the angels
And lived to tell the tale
These people are in heaven now
With all the angels somehow

When the golden gate is closed
Why the gate is closed no one knows
