As I blinked my eyes open, my breathing heavy and my body shaking as I was drenched in a cold sweat. Tears prick the corner of my eyes as I looked around the darken room, it was pitch black, the only sounds that I could hear were my own breathing mixed in with another. Looking to the side, I sat up as I looked at the male beside me, his hair was a mess as his bloody spikes were mushed down, skin pale and smooth to the touch as he shifted a little. Two upside down tear drop tattoos were under his closed eyes. I felt tears well up in my eyes, as low whimpers escaped past my lips.

The man shifted as he released a low and tired groan. Blinking his eyes open, they were revealed to be a beautiful emerald green eyes that pierced through the darkness and shinned brightly. As he shifted, he sat up, the covers falling off his body and showing his lanky figure, looking at him tears continued to roll down my face as more whimpers emitted from my body. Soon a low sob escaped past my lips and broke through the silence of the house, as I felt a pair of arms pick me up and place me on something soft. Wiping at my eyes, through my blurry vision I looked at the man as he held such a worried look while holding me in his lap.

"Please don't cry" he said, placing a gentle hand on my cheek. Blushing I leaned into his touch as more quiet sobs escaped past my lips. 'This isn't real' I thought, causing my heart to twist painfully in my chest as he stared at me.

"A-Axel" I whimpered, my body shaking as more tears came rolling down my eyes, I brought a hand up and rested it on top of his. The warm that came from him skin, made me almost believe it was real. 'Snap out of it, this isn't real' I told myself. The more I looked at him, the more I just wanted to cry. "P-please, please" I said, over and over as I shook my head. I took in a sharp breath as I watched him lean in. My eyes were widening slowly as his lips were soon a few inches away from my own. I shivered as I felt his warm breath hit my lips, before finally they pressed against my own. Slowly my eyes closed as I felt his lips moved against mine...memories flood my mind as I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed back, not wanting to let go...

I jolted awake, my eyes stared up at my ceiling as the morning sun shinned into my bedroom. The silence of the house reached my ears as I looked at my clock, it was currently ten o'clock. Looking around the room, there was nothing, it was empty, like it always had been since that day. Sitting up I stretched, listening to the sound of my bones popping as I mumbled some incoherent words, moving my feet off the bed, I shivered as they touched the cold wooden floor. The whole house had been cold since I lost what was most precious to me. Looking at the nightstand, I smiled as I looked at the wedding ring that laid near a picture, of me and my husband. His flaming red hair spiked every which way as he hand his arms wrapped around me, he wore a nice tux and his piercing green eyes shinned brightly in the picture. The picture was taken on our wedding day and it was my favorite one. My smile fell as I thought of all the event that took place over two years ago, tears welled up in my eyes as I looked down.

"He's in a better place" I mumbled to myself quietly. "I just need to move on" I said, standing up as my feet lightly padded against the wooden floor as I walked to the bedroom door and left. Never once noticing the pair of green eyes that shinned within the shadows as they watched me leave.
