Title: Building the Bridges

Author: xxxxGryfindorGurlxxxx

Summary: We've heard the story of all the SPD rangers but now it's a new generation of SPD rangers, the B-Squad's children, told in the eyes of Bridge and Z's daughter.

Disclaimer: I do not own Power Rangers, if I did Bridge would've gotten more spot light.

A red SPD ranger rushed through the front doors of the hospital as he nearly crashed into the front desk. Oblivious to the glare the front desk lady was giving him he tried to form a sentence.

"Do you know what room Z Carson is in? I don't know why you wouldn't though, seeing as you work the front desk but there is always poss-" he started to ramble nervously but was cut off by the woman.

"She's in room 205," she answered in monotone, ignoring the delighted look in the rangers eyes as he set off down the hall way to the room the lady pointed him to.

He opened the door quickly, revealing a young Latina woman in a hospital bed, holding a covered bundle close to her. He made his way up to the bed as he grinned at the tried woman nervously.

"Hey Z," he murmured watching as Z looked up tiredly as she smiled up at him.

"Hey Bridge," she replied tiredly.

"Is that.." he trailed off as he gestured to the bundle and grinned as Z nodded slowly revealing the bundle.

It was a small baby, with dark brown tufts curling at the ends. She has a slight tan but only a tinge darker than Bridge's own skin. As the baby looked up Bridge saw that she had dark green eyes.

"It's a girl," Z answered his question seeing it on the tip of his lips, "I wanted to wait for you to name her," she murmured as she looked down on her daughter, Bridge following suit. Z looked up at her husband.

"What should we call her?" she questioned.

Bridge furrowed his eyes before bending down to stand up on his head. Z giggled at her husband's antics but looked at him curiously. His eyes were now closed tightly with his brow furrowed. A few minutes passed before he landed back on his feet and fluidly stood up. Z often wondered if Bridge had been in the circus before joining SPD, foe though he wasn't the best fighter he was definitely the most flexible, agile and fastest for sure. He looked at Z, grinning wildly as he approached her and their daughter before kneeling down.

"Do you have any ideas?" he asked curiously. Z pondered for a moment before shaking her head.

"No, I thought we were going to have a boy but I've got nothing for girl names," she shrugged before looking at her husband.

"Do you have a name?"

"What do you think of Sabrina?" he asked energetically.

Z looked at him strangely before pondering over the name.

"Sabrina Carson…I like it but what's her middle name going to be?" she asked.

Bridge shrugged, glad that she liked the name but pondering over a first name.

"You decide."

Z looked troubled for a moment before a look of realization came into her eyes and she turned to her husband.

"Marie." Bridge looked perplexed.

"Yeah. Marie was my mother's name, one of the few things I remember," she stated sadly and Bridge nodded solemnly, wanting to get off the subject of Z's parents or lack of, whichever you preferred.

"Sabrina Marie Carson," he tested it out before his face erupted in a grin. Z nodded with satisfaction

"I like it. A Special name for our special girl," she said.

Bridge nodded as he put his arm around Z's shoulders and they both smiled down at their daughter.

"A very special girl indeed."
