Isabella stared over at Phineas. Just as she was about to give a heart-wrenching, lonesome sigh, she caught herself. Why was she so caught up with this guy? He was to wound up with his precious inventions to notice her. Ferb was the one who had to manipulate everything so they could get a moment alone. Then there was the fact that Phineas never let her talk, always interrupting her. Ferb was always around to hear her out, only giving a few words of world-shattering advice at the end of their conversations. Phineas was always willing to get someone else to do his work. "Where's Perry? I know what we're going to do today?" Always the questions, always the ideas, but Ferb was the one that made everything happen. He drew up the blueprints, made all the plans, put everything together.
Not to mention kissing. Phineas could literally poke her eye out with that obnoxiously pointy nose of his. Ferb's head was shaped just right, with his nose blunted so that it could do no damage.
In fact, now that she thought about it…
"Ferb!" She called out in her usual singsong voice, causing the two boys to look up for once. Surprised, they looked at each other. That was not how things usually went. Phineas was vaguely aware that some major event had just taken place, but was unsure exactly what it was, or what it meant. Ferb on the other hand, was fully aware of just what this meant and quickly began looking around for a place to hide from a love-sick Isabella. Vanessa would not be happy about this.
