This is my second story. Hope you enjoy. Rated T for blood and gore.
The body was unrecognizable. Robin took a closer look to see that each of the organs had been removed and placed to the right of the body, in the shape of a heart. Blood covered the walls, causing Beast Boy to go a deeper shade of green than he already was.
"Who would have commited such a horrible crime?!" exclaimed Starfire, breaking the akward silence that had just previously hung in the air.
"I'm not sure Star... but whoever it is, they are one sick person," Raven said.
Cyborg picked up a letter from the bedside table he had been searching near. "Hey Robin, get a look at this." He handed the note to the Boy Wonder.
"It says 'That was fun. Can't wait 'til next time. Love, Angel'. Next to the signature it's signed with a heart," Robin read.
"And guess what it's written in," Cyborg said with a sick look on his face.
"Blood," Robin replied, angry.
"Uh...." Beast Boy leaned over and vomited on the floor. Starfire jumped back in disgust.
"I'll take him outside," Raven said, grabbing Beast Boy by the waist.
Whoever they are... Whatever they are... this 'thing' is going down! thought Robin as he, Starfire and Cyborg left the house of now deceaesed Gloria Hampton, 22.
"How did you guys sleep?" asked Raven. She walked over to a cabinet and got out a small teabag.
"Not well, I kept having nightmares of bodies and blood and-"
"Dude... I'm eating here!" said Beast Boy, dropping his spoonful of tofu in repulsion.
"Sorry," said Cyborg.
Starfire drank the last of her mustard and asked "Where's Robin?"
"Star... he never came down," Beast Boy replied. Starfire threw away the empty bottle and flew through the doors in search of her teammate.
