He was home early great. I scrambled under the desk beside his small bed and held my breath. I never get caught, I'm Rumpleteazer, I could steal from the Great Rumpus Cat himself and he wouldn't catch me. This cannot be happening.

He walked over to the table and looked on the surface for something. Of course it wasn't there, whatever he wanted, his collar, his belt, you name it, it was in the bag next to me. He sighed and ducked under the table "Out," he said. His calm tone showed no signs of anger, which surprised me; any other cat would have flayed me alive if they caught me stealing. I stood up silently and he cocked an eyebrow "I never thought you'd ever be caught Miss Teazer,"

"Over estimation of your character Tugger." I sighed, stiffly empting the contents of my bag onto the table and very slowly I sank onto the bed.

"I'm sure I don't know what you mean," he smiled seductively

I shook my head "Any worthwhile tom would have been at Bomba's tonight trying to win his girl back, not with some kitten trying to blow off some steam,"

"How do you know where I was?" Another seductive smile.

I wiggled my finger, beckoning him closer and plucked a piece of yellow fur from his mane. "Hmmmm," I pulled a thoughtful face and then smiled "My bet's on Cetty,"

He smiled too "You're good Teazer, but the fact is that this really has nothing to do with why I caught you,"

"I'm coming to that," I interrupted quietly "Going to Bomba's would have taken much longer, but Cetty loves you, you take what you want," I paused dramatically "And then you leave," I scoffed

"Soften up Teazer, Love you might like it." He moved towards me

I stood up suddenly "I'm no fangirl, if that's what you mean Tugger,"

He put his hand on my lower back and pulled me so close our noses were almost touching, I knew that I could easily escape if I wanted too, but there was something oddly comforting about his arms and I found myself absent mindedly stroking the place where is leopard spots ended and mane began "No, not you, you'll never admit you love me,"

I laughed and shook my head "Oh, you don't know anything about love, sex is all you'll ever know,"

He leaned over "Teach me," he whispered softly in my ear.

I looked into his eyes, they were the most strikingly beautiful shade of blue "Maybe later," I breathed, untangled myself from his arms, and ran away into the starry night
