((Yet another one of my stories/projects from Gifted English. We had to write Julius Ceasar's obituary. If you know the gifted kids, we can't help buy make things hilarious. Have fun!))

Julius Caesars Obituary

Tragedy struck Rome, when on March 15th, Julius Caesar was assassinated by members of the senate. His death strikes a foul cord in all of us.

Caesar was loved by many Romans for his efforts to keep Rome free and prosperous. He constantly went on voyages to retrieve new land for Rome, and he successfully fought off Romes enemies. He even had many plays and movies written about him by such fellows as William Shakespeare, Zues, and Tom Cruise.

AHe was an honest man... his friend, Cleopatra, was reported as saying. Many Romans believe this, especially after learning about the great things that they would receive from his will (including 75 Drachmas per Roman). Many night clubs in Rome will open late for celebration. Other Romans disagree, though.

AHe was ambitious! Brutus cried out for the hundred-billionth time yesterday. AHe wanted power that should not have ever been granted to him. Brutus has worn out that thought, though. People are beginning to not listen to him, and rioters have killed many of his supporters.

Meanwhile, though, Caesar was born in 100 A.D. He won the favor of the people after many years of honest work in order to become dictator of Rome. He declined the crown to be king several times, and this made him great.

AHe was pretty much awesome, his really, cool friend, Missi, said.

ANo, he wasnt! Cassius yelled at the reporters. Cassius, a senator and fellow killer of Caesar, was jealous of his authority over Rome (thus why he planned the murder of Caesar). Cassius has recently joined with Brutus to escape Rome.

Caesar will be missed by many, and his funeral is planned for... very, very soon. Brutus and Antony both plan to speak on his behalf.
