They made history with pranks galore.
Messrs. Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs.
Thanks to them Hogwarts went straight to the dogs. (in some cases literally)
Time went on and things went all wrong.
The first one to go was Mr. Prongs.
He fought bravely against You-Know-Who.
But against him there was nothing he could do.
That left a solemn Marauders three.
In the shadow of betrayal that none could see.
Of the marauder spirit Wormtail broke free.
For the remaining marauders this was easy to see.
Once in the year of nineteen ninety three.
His death has now long since been due.
To what is now the marauders two.
Mr. Padfoots final act was done,
When he fought in a battle he could not have won,
And that left us the Marauder one.
What happened to the spirit of fun?
Are the Marauders pranks said and done?
The fate of the last only time will tell,
Just know his spirit is alive and well
