Author's note:
It's so hard to write them with real names! I'm so used to writing them with their country names. Ugh.

The only reason that China and Russia live next door is because I am a shameless shipper of yaoi and wanted to squish in a few hints of RoChu and LietPol.

So far, Kiku was enjoying the new neighborhood he had just moved to. It was nice, for lack of better words. He found a nice house and he was enjoying it so far.

He hadn't met his neighbors yet; he was too much of a shut-in to meet them so soon.

He'd seen inhabitants in the house on the right hand side of his own home from the study's window. There was a Chinese man, a scary-looking Russian, and three teenage boys. The boys didn't look a thing like the two adults, so Kiku just assumed that they had been adopted. He'd seen a flat-chested blonde-haired girl go back and forth with one of the older two boys; she must have been the boy's girlfriend.

Kiku had seen inhabitants in the house on the left hand side of his from his bedroom window. There was a peppy Italian, a strict-looking German, and an albino man with silver-colored hair and red eyes. The albino seemed as if he was just staying there and that the German didn't willingly let the man stay there. Who knows for sure, though?

The only time that Kiku had left the house other than to go to work and to get groceries, among other things, was when he went to grab the mail and the daily paper in the morning. So far, he'd yet to run into any of his wacky-looking neighbors. Well, that was about to change.

Kiku had just finished his tea as the paper arrived. He looked outside to see that the mail had also arrived. He placed his tea cup into the sink to wash later. He slipped on a pair of shoes, exchanging his cozy slippers for the outside-wear.

He walked out into the morning—he could feel the mist in the air. It wasn't exactly bright out yet; the sun was just beginning to rise. He walked down the front walkway. Just as he was starting to open his mailbox, he heard a yell to his left.

"You just moved in right? I'm your awesome neighbor, Gilbert!"

Kiku turned around to face the albino that he'd seen next door. Oh dear Lord, the man was dressed in nothing but slippers and a towel around his waist. This wasn't appropriate!

"Uh," Kiku paused, trying to get over the awkwardness of the situation. He reached his hand out as to shake the other man's, "I'm Kiku."

Gilbert reached his hand and grasped Kiku's. From the force that Gilbert was shaking the other's hand, somehow, his towel had fallen to the ground.

Kiku felt his face flush of all color before his cheeks decided to burn a bright red. He looked away as Gilbert pulled the towel back up around his waist.

"Awesome five meters, huh?"

Kiku quickly grabbed his mail and the paper and dashed back into his house.

Meanwhile, inside of Gilbert's house, the Italian was yelling to the German that was reading a novel at the kitchen table.

"Ludwig! Gil's scaring the neighbors again!"

"Feliciano, please, just look away."

Ludwig really needed to kick his brother out soon.

Author's note:
If you hadn't caught on from the hint at the top of the page, the "girl" mentioned was Poland, which means "she" was leaving with Lithuania. Japan just thought that Poland was a girl. Also, if you think that the rating should be upped, just tell me. I just thought since that I didn't describe anything that it would be fine, but just tell me if you think it should be M.

Reviews are love. ;D
