Loren walked into her and Eddie's old apartment and shook her head at all the memories flooding into her mind.
Loren giggled as Eddie picked her up and swung her over his shoulder.
"Eddie, put me down!"
"Not untill you say you love me." He said smiling.
"Eddie, you know I hate to lie." She said trying to stop giggling.
"That's it!" Eddie shouted throwing Loren softly on the couch and tickling her.
"Oh my god. Eddie. Stop." She said laughing uncontrollably.
"Nah, this is fun." He chuckled.
"Okay! Okay! I love you, Eddie Duran!" She said wheezing.
Eddie pecked her on the lips.
"Thank you. I love you too."
She grabbed on of the many boxes she had brought with her and started packing her stuff.
She started with all the picture frames.
One of her and Eddie on the beach she was in a sea-foam green strapless bikini and Eddie was wearing swim trunks. He was carrying her bridal style and the sun was almost setting behind them making it glow.
She quickly boxed the rest of them and left two for Eddie. As if he even wanted them.
She grabbed all her jewelry from the bathroom and noticed something was missing.
The heart locket that has a picture of them asleep on the couch with their arms wrapped around each other that Jake captured when he walked in to meet with Eddie and that had the inscription 'Forever and Always, Loren and Eddie, was missing.
She looked around the living room for it and then moved to the bedroom where she had not been yet.
Walking in she clasped her hand to her mouth and tip toed to the bed.
There lay Eddie asleep with his hand firmly gripping the locket.
Loren's eyes teared up at the sight of it. There were empty alcohol bottles everywhere and his face was tear streaked.
Loren walked up and touched his face gently.
"Oh, Eddie." She whispered.
"Loren?" Eddie said sleepily.
"Yes, Eddie. I'm here." Loren said pulling her hand away quickly.
"I'm sorry." He whispered.
"I know, just go to sleep." Loren said pulling the blankets over him more.
"No, not without you next to me." He argued grabbing Loren's arm and pulling her closer.
"Eddie..." She started.
"No! No, Loren. I'm in love with you," He said getting up, "I love you so much and I refuse to let you leave or think I never loved you. We were fighting over the littlest things and it got so out of hand that it turned into this and we're not together anymore and that's not right. We're Loren and Eddie. We're meant to be I knew that from the start when I was still with Chloe and I grabbed your hand at that concert. I love you and I never want you to leave me. So Loren Tate, will you marry me?"
Eddie got down on one knee and pulled a black velvet box from under his pillow.
"I love you." He said one last time.
Loren was speechless she didn't know what to say.
She got up and jumped in his arms.
"I love you so, so much, Eddie. Forever and always."
"Is that a yes?"
"It's a yes."
And with that he lifted her up and she wrapped her legs around his torso and kissed him.
