It was subtle, barely noticeable; but it was enough for him to notice.
"You're freezing," Barry stated, not quite making eye contact with her.
Dawn looks confused for a moment, before bringing her hand towards her neck. Where she expected her scarf to be, she found ice cold skin instead.
"Oh."
"M-maybe we should go back and get your scarf back first?"
The girl simply shook her head. "I'm not cold," she said quitely. "And besides, a storm might come by the time we get it."
"Sure you are, you're shivering!"
"I can handle it."
With face flushed red, Barry wrapped his green scarf around Dawn's neck.
"You don't need to act so tough all the time, y'know?"
Dawn just stared and fiddled with the scarf before regarding him with a small smile. "Thank you."
"I-It's not that I'm doing it for you or anything!" Barry suddenly shouted, flailing his arm in front of him. "Let's ... Let's just hurry up so I can get my scarf back."
