Michael glanced back at Victor, who stood before the glass doors, staring at the ocean.

"Do you think they would be proud of me?" Victor asked.

Michael hummed low in his throat, "Yeah, I think they'd be proud of you." He said as he turned back to the pages before him. He highlighted a few more names before he put the pages away and stood.

Michael moved to Victor, who stood by the doors. "You alright Victor?"

"Yeah, it's just, with today and everyone coming; my memories are more vivid than ever."

Michael patted Victors shoulder when the doorbell chimed.

Michael pulled open the door and smiled at Fiona who stood before him.

"Hey Fi." He said. Fiona grinned up at Michael before she and her husband entered.

As Michael greeted Cameron, Fiona moved to Victor's side. "You alright Vicky?" she asked.

Victor drew Fiona into a hug, letting all his fears flow out.

"Yeah, thank you." He whispered into her hair.

Fiona and Victor moved to the living room where the new arrivals, Madeline and Nate stood.

Michael was just greeting them when the bell rang again.

Victor opened the door and came face to face with Sam, who smiled at him before he moved into the house, wife on his arm, Adry chatting the whole way.

Victor stood in the doorway, watching the people before him when Michael noticed him staring. He motioned him over as he handed out wine.

"Here's a toast, to another year gone. May we thank the one that brought us here. Thank you, Carla, may you burn in hell."

Victor smiled as he sat amongst his family, eating through another anniversary's horrors.

Just for the end of season two that I hated. I just love Victor.

Peace.
