"Hello. I've been waiting for you." Her voice rang out to him as he approached her house. He shifted into his normal form and ruffled the girl's brown ringlets.
"I told Leah that I was heading to Billy's house. Otherwise she would have worried constantly." He laughed. "Your parents can't be happy that I am visiting you."
"Mum has finally accepted what's happened between us. Dad… Well Dad understands because of his talent but he still hates all of you dogs." She smiled and then they heard a howl from the forest. She frowned and turned to the boy. "Embry's found you. Goodbye!" He growled at her before sprinting away into the forest.
