She lay comfortably on the grass, sucking on a straw and watching the clouds high, high above her.
A cat climbed up on her stomach, and squirmed around before settling nicely.
"Go away, Cotton." She murmured, pushing the cream-and-blue cat off her.
The clouds changed to dragons and griffins and castles and trolls, all of it only for her eyes.
Yet, in the distance there was something that wouldn't change.
It was a cumulonimbus cloud, large and menacing. It seemed unchanging, refusing to take another form.
A strange emptiness filled her.
Some things are stronger.
And she believed every word.
It seems I have unstoppable imagination. Oh well, I'm not exactly complaining.
