A/N: OMG!! NARUTO HET!!

I first for me lol.

Warnings: Kinda, slight Sakura bashing. Hey, I don't like the girl, get over it.

Haruno Sakura gazed longingly at the dark haired boy by the window. His eyes stared out of the pane, watching as the snowflakes fell past him. His head rested lightly in his hand, and his hair swayed every once in a while due to the heater next to his seat.

The pink haired girl sighed softly, then promptly sat up straight and steeled her will. She would ask the 15 year old to the dance today, and she just knew that Sasuke would accept. With that she stood and walked across the classroom, making sure her uniform was nice and wrinkle free. She smiled in what she thought was a slightly coy way and stood in front of the boy's desk.

Sasuke turned towards the girl as she walked over, and stared up at her with his coal black eyes. "A-ano, Sasuke-kun," Sakura started hesitantly. "W-would you l-like to go to the um, Winter Ball? With me," she bit her lip lightly as she waited for his answer.

What she got was a soft glare and a quiet 'hn' before the Uchiha stood up, grabbed his bag and walked away from her towards the door. It was the end of the day after all.

Sakura felt her heart shatter at the response. She had been so sure that he wanted to go with her. She caught him staring all the time as she would chat with her best friend Yamanaka Ino in the lunchroom. Sakura thought he liked her, but obviously she was wrong.

She watched dejectedly Sasuke neared the door, and jumped slightly when her friend appeared in it, blocking Sasuke's path. She watched confusedly as Ino blushed lightly as she looked up into Sasuke's eyes.

"Hey Sasuke-kun," the blonde started. Sakura had an idea what she was going to ask, and felt she should go over and save Ino from certain humiliation. "I was wondering if you had a date for the Winter Ball."

Sasuke shook his head no but did not brush past the girl like Sakura thought he would. Instead, he waited for Ino to finish what she was saying. "Well, do you want to go with me?"

In amazement, Sakura saw the Uchiha smile and say "Yes, I would love to go with you Ino-chan."

Ino smiled as well, and clasped her hands together in front of her. "Really? You do," she asked excitedly. She nearly squealed in joy as Sasuke nodded before talking his hand and leading him out the door, shutting it behind them.

Sakura could only stand in shock at what she just saw, and tears welled in her eyes. It wasn't her Sasuke was always staring at, it was Ino. She couldn't believe what her best friend just did though. How many times had she said she like Sasuke? Far too many to count, and she couldn't believe the other girl would betray her like that.

The door slid open again to reveal the very girl on Sakura's mind. Ino walked over to her desk, where her bag lay forgotten. She bent down to pick it up, and as she straighted she saw Sakura by the window. She smirked triumphently before walked back to the door and slipping through it again. The resounding bang echoed through the empty room and Sakura let the tears slide down her cheeks and drip off her chin.

A/N: NO FLAMES!! I cannot stress that enough! I know many people are Anti-SasuIno, but I don't care. R&R
