Drabble – The Past

"Come on Hephaestion, it will be fun."

"Nay, you go ahead but count me out."

"Why won't you do it with me, you always did in the past?"

"Because I remember when we did it in the past and I don't recall as many fond memories of it as you seem too."

"I thought you had fun?"

"I was faking it."

"Really?"

"Look Alexander, one mans fun is not necessary another's. Don't let me stop you, go ahead and do it."

A pout engulfed Alexander's face.

Hephaestion sighed.

"Oh all right, but just one more time."

Alexander was all smiles.
