"Prussia is officially dissolved." I walked out, I turned and walked out my boss yelled at me to return I didn't listen I; I ran. I ran to Ludwig, I screamed as I hit the house after vaulting over the remains of the Wall and running into the house after breaking off the knob when I found it was locked. I screamed.

"WEST," I screamed; almost pleading him to ignore me to so I can scream at him again and again. He and Italy appeared; West wore a look of pure boredom while Feli had his regular happy-go-lucky-nothing-can-go-wrong face, in pure contrast to the tears streaming down my face as I look for someone to hold me.

"You will slowly fade. No finding refuge elsewhere. You will stay here and fade like other countries."

"What's wrong, Gilbert," Ludwig and his usual stoic tone was about to make me cry.

"I'm done."

"What do you mean, bruder?"

I repeated what my boss has told me, "'Prussia is officially dissolved' I'm done, I am no longer allowed to live unless someone hides me! Can I stay here until I can talk to Birdie?"

"Of Course you can stay Gil," Feli piped in jumping in front of West to make the decision.

"Feli, you know I love you but this West's house shouldn't he make the-"

"He's right, we haven't touched your room yet you may stay as long as you need but you know the rules."

I sighed and nodded running through the rules out loud: "One, no girls. Two, don't terrorize the public. Three, don't hurt Feli. Four, don't hurt Feli's Public. Five, don't drink all the beer. Yeah, yeah, I know the rules!" I ran to my bedroom and pulled the phone to my chest as I tried to remember Matthew's number.

"Birdie, Birdie…" I muttered under my breath, typing the number into the phone and holding it up to my ear.

Ring.

Ring.

Ri-

"Hello? Matthew Williams speaking."

"Birdie?" I ask silently praising my awesome remembering skills.

"Gilly? What are you doing I thought you were going to be in a meeting for a few more hours then a plane to Germany. What happened," his voice soft and worried.

"I skipped the rest of the meeting, and the plane. I ran out after the first few sentences and ran to Germany." He gasped and I chuckled a bit knowing he was worried for my safety, he didn't know the half of it.

"Birdie," I began again when he said nothing. "I need you to hide me. Prussia is officially dissolved. And I need, I need to get away they want me to fade! The Awesome me! They want me to DIE!" the tears were rolling down my face but I forced my voice to stay even. He gasped and I heard the phone clatter to the floor. "Birdie?" no answer. "Birdie! Birdie, are you okay!" then I heard footsteps then he spoke.

"Gil. Get to France. I will pull strings to get you to me if I have to put you on a boat for month I will get you here under the radar. Pack a few changes of clothes in a backpack along with a few small things and ask Ludwig to send Gilbird here. I will take care of him till you get here." He said with a scary seriousness in his voice as he planned my escape from Europe. "I have to call Francis and get him to get you in and out of the country and somehow to me."

"Birdie, I love you. Okay I will go put Gilbird in a cage and get West to ship him over there to you tonight and I will start running to Francis' house in an hour. Bye Birdie, I love you." I made a really childish kiss noise and he reciprocated.

"I love you too Gilbie. Hurry, I will wait for you. Bye Gilbie, I love you." he said in the sweetest voice ever.

With that I hung up and put Gilbird in his cage and hollered for Ludwig telling him to mail him to Birdie. And I packed a backpack of underwear and a few of my Prussian Pistols and my Passport and such then jumped out the window and ran across Germany to France, for Franny to put me on a plane hopefully and send me to Mein Liebling and live there till I fade, if I fade.
