Chapter One
Halcyon Part One

Sixteen years ago, a Saiyan space pod fell in the East Forest on the outskirts of Magnolia. As the ship collided into the ground a small earthquake occurred. The force of it was enough for the old mage known as Makarov to investigate. Makarov was the guild master of Fairy Tail, a guild that everybody in Magnolia had at least heard of once or twice. Makarov was one of the ten mages that made up the council.
As Makarov came close to the ship, he noticed that the door was opened and a small baby was crawling out crying his head off. The baby had long black hair that stuck up in different directions and matched his onyx eyes. Makarov smiled gently and picked the child up. Almost immediately the baby stopped crying and flashed Makarov a huge smile.
"Where do you come from little fellow?" laughed Makarov. The baby replied by cooing softly. Makarov proceeded to lift the baby into toward the sky. He then noticed that the baby had a long furry brown tail. 'Kids these days' he thought. " Now what am I going to call you?" he looked to the sky and laughed once more. "How about Son Goku?" The baby giggled and clapped his hands at his new name.
Makarov sat Goku down on the ground and began walking towards the crater where the spaceship was. He inspected the spaceship and noticed a strange red pole with a sheath on the floor. Taking the mysterious pole, Makarov exited the ship. He then quickly filled the crater with sand to hide but also preserve the ship incase one day, Goku would need it.
Makarov slung the pole around his back securely and walked back to where he had left Goku who by now had fallen fast asleep under the tree. Makarov picked the sleeping baby in his arms and began walking back to Magnolia. 'Son Goku, one day you'll be Fairy Tail's strongest Mage. I just know it.
Author's Note: This is only the first part, I'm sorry it's short but I wanted to get this out there and hopefully get some feedback. This story will take place in the Fairy Tail world, but it will Dragonball aspects and possibly more characters as it goes on.
