It was St. Valentine's day at the SGC. Jack O'Neill was grooming himself over before he went to see Major Carter with the Valentine's card he made her. He was waiting in the coffee room. He was sure she must love him. He put his head around the door. There she was. Happily skipping down the corridor. He stepped out in front of her. She stopped in front of him.
"Hey Jack!" she said.
Jack didn't know what to say. Usually he was blabber mouth of the universe but today he had just gone all quiet. Perhaps he should try out that startagy the female seragnts usually tried on Daniel. "Why, hel-lo Major Carter!" Damn it! Did he just say that?
Sam looked at Jack in a funny way. That isn't the way he usually talks to me, thoguht Carter. Anyway, she wasn't bothered by it for long. She was going through the Stargate on a very special visit. "I'll see you later, Jack." she said, half opening the door just in front of her.
Jack caught the door with his left hand. "Wait," he said, confused. "Where are you going?"
"I'm going through the Stargate," she said. "I'm going to see a very special guy."
Jack O'Neill let go of the door in horror. Carter failed to notice the greif stricken look on his face as she made her way to the gate room. How could this have happened? He was so close to making her his and yet, so far away.
Jack O'Neill walked around the corridors of the SGC, heartbroken. All of a sudden he ran into Teal'c. Jack gasped. Teal'c was dressed up in a pink dress and was holding what seemed to be a wand. "Teal'c," he gasped, gripped onto something to keep him from falling over. "Why on Earth are you wearing that?"
Teal'c's expersion didn't budge. "I am a fairy, O'Neill,"the Jaffa informed Jack. "It is a Halloween costume."
Jack began to smirk. He bit his lip for a brief moment to hold back the laughter. "Teal'c," he finally said. "It's St. Valentine's Day, not Halloween."
The Jaffa raised an eyebrow. "O'Neill, what costumes are worn at Valentine's Day?"
"You don't wear a costume on St. Valentine's Day!" Jack half-said, half-laughed. He had never seen the Jaffa do anything as weird as this ever before. This was a true Kodak moment.
"Oh, then I shall go and change my clothing," said the Jaffa. At that, Teal'c left. Jack O'Neill started to giggle, then he began to laugh. In fact, he began to laugh so hard that ended up on the floor for 25 minutes!
Teal'c pushed the door to the coffeebreak room open. He was feeling slightly embrassed in his own little way. That was until he saw Daniel Jackson.
Daniel was sitting on the ground, playing the guitar and singing at the same time. It sounded like he had made up this song himself. However, there in front of him sat the subject who he was singing to. It was Daniel's red coffee cup, Henry.
"Henry, I love you, Henry, I do!"sang Daniel to suprsingly good quality.
The Jaffa looked at him with one eyebrow raised. "Dr. Jackson, what are you doing?" asked the Jaffa.
Daniel suddenly stopped his little song mid sentence. He was suprised to see Teal'c and even more suprised by his question. How could anybody not love Henry? He's beautiful red paint made him so attractive.He was also very knowledgable. And he had such a great sense of humour. Daniel went back to singing to Henry.
Teal'c just left it at that.
Daniel raced down the corridors of the SGC to try and find somebody. Anybody would do. The first person he saw was Sam. She was standing in the gateroom ready to go and see the "speacial guy".
"I'm in love," yelled Daniel as he crashed through the gateroom door.
Sam looked pleased for him. "Really, Daniel?" she said."With who?"
Daniel held Henry up in the air and Sam rolled her eyes.This was not, however, at all suprising. The Stargate dialled up and Sam was ready to leave. "Oh, Sam," said Daniel, just as she was about to go. "Don't forget to say hi to your dad for me!"
"I won't, Daniel!"
