Kylo Ren Dreams of Anakin
Kylo Ren tossed and turned in his bed on the First Order trying to get some sleep. He wanted to be well rested when creating an empire that was even better than his grandfather's Galactic Empire. He admired his Grandfather Anakin Skywalker growing up; the stories that his parents and uncle told him about his grandfather was quite intriguing. From then on Ben Solo wanted to be just like his grandfather; much to his parents and uncle's dismay. No one could talk him out of it he wanted to be like his grandfather and that was that.
He even dreamed about what the all mighty sith lord Darth Vader might and might not do. As Kylo Ren tossed and turned some more in his bed; his body is there but his mind isn't suddenly no sound comes from Kylo Ren's room. As his mind plunges him body and all into a darkness abyss surrounded by nothingness. As he keeps on falling Kylo Ren wonders if this meaningless thing would ever end; he needed to get back to falling for a bit more Kylo Ren was getting restless wondering when; this meaningless thing was going to ever end.
"Ben Kenobi Solo" a voice said from the darkness. "My name is not Ben Kenobi Solo! It's Kylo Ren I am a knight of Ren. You should fear me!" Kylo Ren shouted out into the darkness. "But I don't fear you Ben how should we say it you're just misguided. You should go back to the light and leave the darkness behind it's not healthy for you. "I don't care if the darkness is bad for me. It's the only thing that I know it's already flowing through my veins. The light taints my soul it makes me sick and the darkness is the only thing that can and would cure my soul" Kylo Ren shouted once again he could feel his anger rise within him.
"It is not the only thing you know Ben. You belong in the light and not the dark. You have a family that loves you Ben they miss you so much. Your friends miss you as well" the voice from the darkness replied. Kylo Ren for once in his life felt tears threaten to fall from his eyes; but I slaughtered all of them one by one.
As Kylo Ren's voice cracked he said "My family wouldn't want me after what I did. I have too much blood on my hands. No one would want me or respect me for all the bad things that I have done. Even with his head down and tears streaming out of his eyes;Kylo Ren said something flash before his eyes he didn't even bother to look up. When suddenly two fingers gently came under Kylo Ren's chin forcing him to look this mysterious voice in the eye. But when he did Kylo Ren got quite a surprise he came face to face with a Jedi knight.
As his face scrunched up in confusion Kylo Ren said "You are a jedi knight I was expecting to see the famed sith lord Darth Vader." The unidentifiable man just smiled and said "Supreme leader Snorke is wrong Ben. He is steering you in the wrong direction. You need to see the light you need to go back to the light." "Supreme leader Snorke will be greatly displeased" Kylo Ren mumbled. "Let him be Ben" the mysterious voice said.
"Who are you?" Kylo Ren asked the mysterious man in front of him. The man couldn't help but chuckle as he said "Ben I am your grandfather Anakin Skywalker; I am a Jedi Knight." Kylo Ren's head snapped up at the name as he said "But you are a sith lord named Darth Vader; and I am going to finish what you started." "No you're not Ben it's not the right thing to do. You will achieve absolutely nothing; I achieved nothing myself when I was Darth Vader." Kylo Ren looked up at his grandfather Anakin Skywalker with questioning eyes.
Anakin Skywalker then said "Yes I killed a lot of people. People that I cared about and didn't care about. I don't even know where I got my unquenchable rage from but with it I killed your grandmother." Kylo Ren didn't say a word because this is the first time he ever heard of his grandmother; as Anakin continued "And for years Ben I was led to believe that she died giving birth to your mother and uncle. But when I finally learned the truth that my children had lived I then turned on my master my old Sith Lord Emperor Palpatine I killed him for making me do the things I had done."
As Anakin started to fade away he said " Ben the nephew I never knew leave Supreme leader Snorke he is no good for you. Ben he is a bad influence on you. You will achieve nothing and gain nothing. Go back to the light where everyone else wants you." "No don't go!" Kylo Ren sobbed as he watched his grandfather Anakin Skywalker fade away. He then continued to say "They won't want me after what I have done!"
"Yes they do Ben go back to the light and be the best Jedi Knight you can be" Anakin Skywalker said to his nephew looking at him as the tears flowed out of his eyes; as he himself faded away into nothingness. Kylo Ren reached out his hand into the darkness staring at the place where his grandfather Anakin Skywalker once stood; with tears still pouring out of his eyes Kylo Ren yelled "GRANDFATHER!" That's when Kylo Ren shot up in his bed with sweat rolling down his face; as he gasped for hair Kylo Ren tried to make sense of his dream. But tomorrow he would talk to Supreme Leader Snorke and find out what was really going on. Was Kylo Ren living a life full of Supreme Leader Snorke's doing his bidding.
Did Kylo Ren slaughter all his friends and people he loved for nothing. Was it turn like what his grandfather Anakin Skywalker said "that he gained nothing? That Supreme leader Snorke was leading him down the wrong path all along? Did Kylo Ren need to go back to the light and become Ben Kenobi Solo again?" Kylo Ren would just have to wait till morning to ask Supreme leader Snorke the questions he wanted answers to; and hopefully they weren't more controlling lies.
