Author's Note: This is a poem about Chichiri and Hiko. You know, him and his friend who fought over their third friend, the girl. The poem is mostly about what happened in the second series (the OVA, in the tape titled "Illusions"). It is about Chichiri's feelings, etc.

I couldn't do it once

2 I failed the two people I loved

I let go of your hand

And down you fell...

Because of my selfish ways,

You died

Friends turned into enemies so fast

Promises that were endured so long

Were shattered by me...

And so I lived,

Moving on,

Never forgetting the horrid deed,

I had done, by myself

Living all...

....Alone...

Then a warrior I became

I finally had something,

Worth fighting for

I had friends whom loved me

But then I found you again and you were all...

...Alone...

We had to fight once again,

You driven by demons,

I, driven by my heart,

Wanting to forgive and live,

So you wouldn't be...

...Alone...

So now I've got your hand,

And I'm not letting it go

I promise I won't let you down,

Not again, not this time

I love you my dear friend,

I don't want you to be...

And I hold on to you,

Ready to die with you by my side,

Heaven awaiting us both,

But you know,

I have friends that I can't leave...

You refuse to let me go with you to heaven,

Battered and torn,

You die and I live,
