I was wondering how Metro man would feel about Megamind's museum.
Sorry, if there are any mistakes. I will correct them later.
Big day
Metro Man sat in his bed and yawned. Even without looking in the calendar he knew, what a special day is today. That's why he got up to get himself ready for it. Of course there was no need to hurry, the opening will start in two hours. The former superhero turned on the radio and came to his kitchen to prepare some breakfast.
"Hey there, Metro City!" Cheerful voice said from the radio. "Today our blue defender will get his own museum."
Metro Man took from fridge few eggs and put it on the cupboard. He turned on the electric pot and prepared the frying pan and cup, humming happily his newest song. He broke two eggs and purred it on pan. Next he tossed some coffee to cup.
"I can't wait 'til Megamind come." The other speaker said. "Do you think, Mike, that somebody will disturb our hero like last time?"
"I hope not, Jerry." Mike responded.
Metro Man's cheerful mood dropped, while his eggs started to fry itself on pan. It was really unnecessary to mention about opening of his museum. After all few radio listeners could remember that Megamind was the one who "killed" him back then. And Metro Man didn't want few citizens to make a "Megamind is the murderer" picket. Let it be the day of blue baddy's triumph.
"Don't worry, citizens! If you can't be on the place during this marvelous event, the reporters of our radio will transmit everything to you!"
"And now, if you're listening us, Megamind, this is for you. AC/DC – Highway to Hell!"
Metro Man couldn't wait any longer for his breakfast, so he used his laser sight and expedited the making of his scrambled eggs. Then he purred the water to cup, took both coffee and plate with eggs to his living room and began to eat, still listening the tunes of AC/DC. He had to admit that, when it comes to music, he always liked Megamind's taste. The blue alien always knew how to make a good mood.
The ex-hero was quite amazed by the turn of events. Not so long time ago Megamind was his sworn enemy, who just loved to be bad. Not so long time ago Metro Man was the one, who had his museum. He still remembered the crowds cheering him as he was flying above them. He also remembered clearly when Megamind had interrupted him. The former defender of Metro City chuckled, when his mind recalled whole exchange of witty banter between him and his archenemy.
"Microwave of evil... Seriously, Megamind."
But this time it will be different. This time everything will go according to plan. There will be no supervillains interrupting the big event, no kidnapping of Roxanne Ritchi and no death-rays directed towards hero to destroy him. Megamind will be great, audience will be cheering him from the top of their lungs and it will be one of the best days of little buddy's life.
Metro Man finished his breakfast and unhurriedly changed his outfit. He decided for ordinary jeans and sweatshirt. They will be under coat anyway. He wasn't going to stand in front, rather somewhere in the middle of the crowd. Even if nobody will recognize him with this beard on face, he was determinate to stay behind. He spent most of his life, being in the centre of attention and this time he wanted to just observe the glory of somebody else.
Finally Metro Man got out from his house. The weather was sunny, beautiful blue sky was almost cloudless. The ex-hero exhaled deeply and smiled.
"Perfect day to go to the museum." He whispered and started to walk towards the town.
