A/N: Hello, my lovelies! After a LOOOOOOONG time of not writing anything (and deleting my account), I am back and ready to write! This is my first fic since 2003, so I'm probably a bit dusty on my skills. If you would, please review and offer some suggestions. I hope you like this…free-verse poem-type thing…(I know I hardly ever write poetry, so it'll probably suck). As we all know, free-verse is a rhythmic flow of words that has no particular rhyming characteristics, so don't review saying "That ain't no poem, it don't rime" or something like that. Not unless you want my brain to explode.
This is dedicated to my favorite pixilated characters ever to grace the gameworld, Link and Zelda! wOOt! Also, this is all from Zel's POV.
Disclaimer: I don't own the Legend of Zelda series. If I did, do you think I'd be sitting around a Greenwich Village flat with no one but my kitty-cat to keep me company? Well, of course, there's always my parents, but…Er, on with the show!
I see heaven each time you smile.
Your eyes…how can I describe them?
They are midnight.
The deepest blue with starlight sparkle.
Is that why I get lost when I look at them?
Or is it your arms, strong and powerful
Yet so gentle when they embrace me?
When I bury my face into your chest.
And you whisper, so softly:
"I love you..."
"Say it again," I whisper back.
"I love you."
My angel, my savior.
My hero, my love.
I would be lost without you.
I'd have no reason for living.
I exist only for you.
To see you smile.
To hear you laugh.
To feel you kiss me.
I've never felt anything like it.
I'd do anything for you.
I'd die for you.
All for you.
I love you more than I can possibly say.
More than words can say.
So I am content with one simple phrase:
"I love you."
My angel, my savior.
My hero, my love.
My Link.
The End.
It was short. Painfully short. I was fearing sounding repetitive, so there ya' go. I felt like writing something mushy and romantic, so I just had to write this. Hope you enjoyed!
