AN: I HAVE NO REGRETS

"Komaeda, you're really just garbage, aren't you?"

The brunette had roughly grabbed hold of the other's chin, forcing his gaze to his own. What hope the brunette appeared to have was no longer present. The other teen could tell from the looks in his empty green eyes. He thought it was rather disappointing, having someone like Hinata, who'd been leading everyone through the trials, be so hopeless. But he had finally called him what he'd really been the whole time, even being treated like it. He'd swear he was bruising from Hinata's hand, which sparked the smallest shred of joy within him.

"I am, Hinata-kun. Ah, do me a favor and say that again." His lips curled into a smirk, it's not like he didn't think of something like this happening. He was well prepared, after all. He'd just expected this to have a more, hopeful feel to it. He couldn't really complain, 'd wanted to spare some room in his heart just to taste what's called "despair" for himself. If it came from the one he'd absolutely loved the most, he couldn't complain.

"Hi-na-ta-kun, I asked you a favor- gGH!" Hinata had gripped the boy's chin harder, digging his nails right into his skin. His other hand had been squeezing Komaeda's neck every once in a while, cutting off the boy's words when he'd wanted him to be quiet. Hinata had been completely emotionless, completely different from the Hinata everyone knew. He honestly looked genuinely bored.

He certainly didn't look so bored now, thanks to what Komaeda had asked. The brunette had let go of the boy's chin now, tracing his fingers over Komaeda's cheeks. He was examining how his face was built, how soft his skin was, how nice his fluffy white hair could feel.

"You're absolute garbage, Komaeda. Honestly, I could never be more bored of someone with such a dull talent. But honestly, looking at you up close intrigues me now."

Komaeda's face practically lit up in response to Hinata's small smile. "Really? Someone like me, intrigues such a person like you? Haah, for a mastermind, you have very low standards. I'm disappointed, Hinata-kun."

The brunette let go of his grip once again. "It's a natural thing by now, you should really remember our boat conversation. Ah, but you don't. I'm just as disappointed in you." Hinata pressed his forehead to Komaeda's, moving away both of his hands to hold the other's. The white-haired boy had gripped it in return, feelings mixed with his hope and Hinata's despair.

"You make me hope for the time we hopelessly die together. Wouldn't you like something like that, now?"

Komaeda couldn't help but nod, as he undid Hinata's shirt.
