Find my way back home tomorrow

Yet still my days stay filled with sorrow

To view the world as only gray

And never see a sunny day

-

What is life without its hues?

If nothing but a sinful ruse

It's you who tints and shades my life

Colors- roused my endless strife

-

My world is formed of walls of sound

Still to darkness my eyes are bound

And though I've been gifted with flight

I'd give all of it up to regain my sight

-

If shadows and darkness are all I see,

To life what good would I be?

For I'm not brave enough to stand

A life like mine isn't so grand

-

I'll not be used to pinks and reds

But color flashes in my head

It brightens my mind

Leaving my gray world behind
