He just didn't get it. It had always yelled how it would love nothing but to tear him apart and regain it's freedom. It always told him how stupid humans were and how pathetic they were compared to it. It always lashed out at him until he learned where not to cross that invisible line. It always was rude, angry, and hateful. But those weren't the things that confused him.
Ok sure he could understand to a point how it felt. He knew he hated being locked up almost as much as it did. He knew that he wasn't as smart as the ancient beast, but he wasn't as dumb as most people thought of him. How many other six-year-old do you know that could live by themselves and learn how to walk, talk, and pretty much everything on their own with little to no help. Sure he may not be book smart, but he has something better than that street smarts and instinct. Most likely he could thank the beast for the last one.
No none of this is what really confused him. What really confused him was why did it call him kit. Was it because of who his mother was and it's relationship with her? Was it because he may have been born with some of it's chakra in him before the sealing? Was it because he was growing on the beast and it now saw him as one? Or was it just a different label it gave him to call him other than human child? But if the last one was the case why would it do that?
Why would it give him a label from it's own background like that? Should he see it as an honor that no matter what the beast thought of him it still saw him as better then other humans at least enough to give him a title of it's own? No matter how many times he though on it, or how many questions he came up with he still couldn't understand. Maybe he's no supposed to though.
Maybe it's just one of though things you have to except and move on with, and he had. Really he did. But that didn't mean he didn't still wonder about it. That didn't mean if given that chance he would ask or chase down that the answer for it. But until then he could be patient. He could wait, and just watch.
After all that is what he was best at even if very few knew it. Sooner or later Kyuubi no Kitsune/ Kurama had to slip up at least a little. Until then he would carry on with his life. He would just have to be patient in order to try to understand some if not all of things that made up his bijuu.
