Just like you- one
Funny how after watching Crossroad blues, I find myself feeling for Dean in the loss of his father. Then started thinking how I could use this feeling and pour it into an OC without getting too nuts.
"Oh nooooo, noooo, ahhhh haaaaa not him, please god not him, no, no no" a female's voice let out a string of begging and pleading with the doctors.
Dean hated that sound; he hated it because he heard the same begging everyday in his own head. He looked at Sam ,who was talking to the rest of the family , two girls ,and a younger man who was the family's youngest son. Dean's eyes were re-directed to the oldest girl, she was not rail thin, she was not fat either, maybe a little plump. Her dark brown hair fluffed and streaked with red. Her name was Rachael; she was 28 years old and the adopted daughter of the Dragon family. Celeste was the younger sister, standing there with her husband and baby. The younger man standing next to his mother, is name was Jason; he was six years younger than Rachael was. How had Dean know all of this , funny you should ask, they were is next door neighbors of three years . The wife was not showing to much emotion, Evelyn's, dark blonde hair, an older woman in her fifties stood there talking to Dean's brother and a cornier. Rachael lifted her eyes up to see a familiar son walking towards her , she pulled her arms closer to her body , trying to protect herself from whatever than man was going to say.
"Rachael, I'm sorry about your dad." Dean whispered to her as he pulled her resisting body towards him.
Rachael only nodded her head and pushed away from Dean. Celeste strolled over to him and placed her chin on his shoulder.
"She'll be okay Dean, she always is. Our Aunt called her at work and she came right home. I'm not sure it has it her yet, my brother and mother is handling it better than her."
"What did your father die from, if you don't mind me asking "
"Heart attack, a massive one" Celeste placed he arm around him trying to pull him back over to his brother. Sam noticed Celeste and Dean walking back over to him.
"Again, Evelyn if you need anything, anything at all. Please call us. We will be at the funeral sat." The older woman just smiled at him sadly, as she walked back over to her two children, who huddled close to her. Rachael leaned against the sea green car, her arms still crossed and her head down. Sam did not really remember the other two children but he remembered Rachael. She was quiet and kept to herself, for the most part.
Dean nudged his brother's shoulder, they walked back over to the Impala when Sam stopped and looked at his brother.
"You think Dad , ever regretted his decision" Sam saw Dean's guilty gladdened frown" No I mean, we were the only two he was leaving behind , compared to the dragon family , we are pretty luck, there is just you and me. Evelyn has to take care of he kids, grandchild, Michael's mother, and living relatives. God remember when their one aunt and uncle came over, everything they did wasn't as good as Robbie or Michael."
"Maybe we are lucky Sam, come on man we have to get some rest before the wake tomorrow and the n the funeral Sat ,sun we are out of here ". Dean looked around the neighborhood. It was not bad, but bad things had happened there. He looked at Rachael once more before getting into the Impala and driving away.
Okay so I just jumped right into the story, sorry I will write some more lately on at work…
