I like the whole Natasha can stick up for herself theme, so this little drabble was haunting my brain. Maybe I should've called Ghostbusters... Regardless read and review.
Third Person POV
"I swear if I hear one more pick up line I may have to kill Agent Lane." Natasha mutters entering into the kitchen at one in the morning.
"Isn't that Clint's stand in until he gets evaluated?" Pepper questions closing her laptop at the breakfast bar.
"Yeah, today he offered to go on an undercover mission with me." She says using air quotes. "He even used very uncomforting gestures." She finishes with an exhausted smirk
"Why do you not wish to go on an undercover mission with Agent Lane?" Thor asks from the living room, quickly Bruce leaned over and whispered what he was insinuating to both Thor and Steve.
"Do you want me to go talk to him?" Steve questions jumping up and cracking his knuckles along with Thor.
Immediately plans began to form from the two men on how to set the man straight. Natasha didn't have the energy to stop them, instead focused on finding something for dinner.
"Guys, if Natasha wanted the guy dead, we wouldn't hear about it until the obituary. She can handle this. Besides I should be back to work at the end of the week." Clint says reassuringly
"Are you sure?" Steve questions still stuck on defending Natasha
"You ever heard of Agent Droe?" At the shaking heads Clint continues sarcastically, "Exactly."
