I watched Yu-Gi-Oh when I was like, eight. It's been twelve years and I'm not sure how I remembered it but I did. 90's kid, you know? Haha enjoy! It's nothing really fun-derful just a blurb. But someone musta thought this once upon a time.

Oy.
He doesn't know why, but whenever he stops to think about what he is doing, he would be surprised to find that he'd be watching her.
You'd think that an ancient spirit like himself with so much burden and so many questions on his mind and shoulders, that he wouldn't have any time for something so domestic and mundane.
Surely if he has so many people and expectancies before him, he couldn't even formulate such actions and thoughts as he did.
It's not like he was placed on this earth a second time to be allowed to think about such ideas - let alone to be occupying the vessel of a younger spirit much of an imitation of his own. And it's not like he wanted or asked to be resurrected (for lack of a better word) and to be chasing such journeys and adventures to find himself. With all that on his mind, he really CAN'T afford to think about anything else.
And yet he does, because after all...
...
He is a boy.
So when he, the ancient spirit as he is, is still of a teenage/young adult male mind, he can't help it if one day he finds himself watching her as she walks ahead of him with either Joey, Tristan or Yugi's grandfather.
She did say that she wanted to become dancer.
Téa walks with the grace of an elegant female. She twists her wrists delicately when she talks and explains things, and sticks out her pelvis when she tries to resist the urge to knock one of the boys upside the head; and when he forces them into perilous situations, as he usually does, and they are running for their lives, she skips and jumps about, landing like a cat on the balls of her feet.
So ...it's no surprise really, that sometimes when he watches how her hips sway as she walks that he suddenly sprouts vague images of the dancers he remembers back in Ancient Egypt.
Oh Rah, how would Yugi reprimand him if these thoughts were ever discovered?
Sure, she doesn't wear revealing cloth garments (generally) and golden jewellery doesn't adorn her and shine in the light of a bright orange, fire. But as a budding man with similar urges as any, he can't help but feel slightly mystified when the toned skin of her abdomen becomes visible beneath a rise of her shirt...
The flashes of female acrobats, so flexible, so strong and beautiful swirling around his courtyard in golds and reds, with their dark, silky hair and olive skin shining like …what does Joey call it? Plastic? Yes, shiny plastic. He sees the dancers, he sees plastic, and he is suddenly home.
On his throne.
Watching the graceful vixens try to please him and tease him with whimsical athleticism and poise.
...
...He's a little embarrassed, of course.
As he's mentioned before, a man of his status and maturity, and with the responsibilities he has to carry on his shoulders, Téa's body should be the furthest thing from his mind. He could scold himself and act disgusted.
Or …in his defence, he could be a little…
…Proud.
Even after all this time trapped alone in a magic relic, no longer at the height of Egyptian power, and having no sense of the new world around him… he finds comfort in knowing that he once lived with easy, accessible delights like Téa within his palace.
And now, he has the pleasure of having it all again through just her presence.
But he is modest and, not much a talker. So he keeps it pleasantly to himself.
As all ancient spirits do.
END.
One word reviews are nice.
