Blaine hardly remembers anything about that night, really. He blocked it all out. The thing he does remember, though, is the pain that was in his heart whenever it happened. Kurt's words echoed in his mind, although he barley remebers them. But somehow, they always seem to come back.
Blaine sighed, rubbing his temples. He needed coffee, but he swore to never go back to the Lima Bean. He walked downstairs, his plaid pajamas loose around his legs. Everything reminded him of Kurt. He had to stop this, he was probably going to die in his own little puddle of self pitty. He walked into the kitchen, only to be greeted by Cooper. His older brother smiled. "Hey bud, you feelin' ok?"
Blaine sighed, as he always did when asked that question. Cooper had moved back to Lima after that night, because Blaine was being hysterical. Cooper sighed back. "Blainers, i know you miss him, but..he isn't coming back." Blaine shook his head, silent. Blaine hadn't been himself since then, and he didn't want to go back to being that way without Kurt.
Cooper rubbed Blaine's back. "Come on, Blaine. Go get ready and i'll make you some breakfast, ok?" Blaine nodded silently, going to get ready for school.
Break.
Blaine sighed(man, he really did do that a lot.) as he drove to school. Or..was he driving to school? He reconised this route, but he didn't think it was the right one. Oh no. He pulled up to a white house, watching it. It wasn't just any house...it was Kurt's. He shook his head. This was getting ridiculos. But then...he saw something red. He got out of the car, walking towards it. He saw it was a sign, saying "Room for rent".
Before he knew what he was doing, Blaine was knocking on the Hummel Hudson door. Carole opened it, a smile on her face. "Yes?" she saw it was Blaine,
and she automatically looked concerened. Blaine didn't look like himself at all. The cardigans, red pants, bowties... they were all gone. So was the smile on his face.
Her mother instincts kicked in, and she hugged Blaine tightly. "Oh, hun... come on in." Blaine nodded, and walked into her home. The atmosphere was warm,
as it had always been. Blaine sighed. He could practically hear Kurt's laugh echo through the house. She walked with him into the livingroom, to find Burt was awake and reading the paper. "Who was at the door, Car?"
She bit her lip. "Burt...it's our son." Burt's eyes lite up, thinking it was Kurt. When he put down the paper, he looked concerned. "..Blaine? Kid, what are you doing here?" Blaine bit his lip. "The sign..." Burt's eyes widned. "You.. came in for rent?" Blaine nodded.
"Well...i don't see why not." Blaine smiled. Carole bit her lip. "Come on, i'll show you the room."
They walked up the stairs, walking to the room across Kurt's old. The room was a light blue, with a queen sized bed. It had it's own bathroom, and a vanity. Blaine smiled. "This is...this is perfect." Carole smiled a little. "The rent is 30 dollors per month. Is that ok?"
Blaine nodded, not caring about the price. He was finally home.
