Title: Message

Summery: Every angel felt it the moment it happened. It was a scream laden with a message.

Warnings: Spoilers through 5x19, character death.

Characters: The Archangels and a bunch of unnamed angels.

It echoed across every angels mind. Even the ones who were reborn as humans after tearing out their grace, they whipped their heads around at the sudden message, finding nothing but a chill down their spines.

In Heaven and across Earth angels lost balance, stumbled, or pressed their hands to their vessels ears at the sudden noise. The rapid hustle of Heaven halted as a handful fell to their knees, the others' jaws dropped, wings drooping in shock.

The sound carried its message clearly; it was from an angel whose voice wasn't heard since before the fall of Lucifer. It resounded in the grace of every rank of angel, the Cherubs wept from their clouds and hugged each other, the garrison in charge of watching the Earth huddled together, no words passing as they attempted to comprehend what they witnessed.

Michael stood beside Raphael and Joshua in the Garden. The moment it registered, the eldest's eyes whipped to the skies above him. The sound echoing in his grace seemed be everlasting as he begged his father for guidance, for answers.

He turned to Joshua, hopeful, but he solemnly shook his head. Michael sunk to his knees and released an anguished, unearthly cry. Raphael placed a hand on his elder brother's shoulder, an attempt to be calming. The unnamed angels heard Michaels scream underneath the one pounding in their minds. To even the eldest soldiers, it was a thing of terror to hear. Both cry's teetered off with a rush of grace speeding though Heaven.

The scream lasted four seconds on Earth.

But to some in Heaven, it will never end.

It carried the message of pain, the message of betrayal.

It carried the message, "Gabriel is dead."

A/N: Is it morbid to be obsessed with my favorite characters death scene?I randomly got an idea that when one of the Archangels dies - all the angels will know. Please be nice and leave reviews (if positive or 'constructive criticism'). I'll appreciate it! Also suggestions or ideas are always welcome :)
