The old man stopped talking only for a moment when his nephew spoke for a moment, asking the question of:
"So what does this girl have to do with me Uncle?"
"'This girl' is more like you than you think and it will teach you something very valuable about how your life can change as it did for her…"
The old man stroked his chin for a second before starting from where he had left the story, saying:
"Now where was I…ah yes…Her eyes, let's just say that they were stained with the golden sun. The Childs name was Kota and she was the daughter of a Fire Nation general who was only four ranks below my own at the time…He had gotten married and had a child around 5 days after Lu-ten was born"

"General Iroh, News has just come that you have been blessed with a son…Your wife has named him in your absence as Lu-Ten, my greatest wishes goes to you General"
Iroh paused for a moment as the news in which he had just been briefed on processed through his mind and when it had Iroh yelled out in joy:
"Lu-Ten! What a great name for a prince of the Fire Nation"
And managed to control the joy that he had inside to make himself seem more "realistic" in front of the soldier he commanded.
"How long will it take us to get us from the earth kingdom to the fire nation?"
"About One week Sir"
"Good, we will leave today"
Said the general as he walked out of the tent and towards the dock; he was not going anywhere else than to see his son. Until his goal was met he would do nothing but sit on that boat till his homeland was met by his two feet hit the sand.

Iroh walked the halls of the of the fire nation palace which was now decorated in gold for the birth of Lu-Ten. Fire lord Azulon was making sure that everything went well and that the heir to the throne would kept care of, his second born son Ozai was a bit more on the edge these days, though still a young adult he now knew that because his brother now had a son his chances for becoming fire lord were lost like a pebble being tossed in the ocean; he was what you could call furious and yet he knew his father did not care at all.
As iroh made his way through the halls a general and close friend of his made his way over to iroh congratulating him on the birth of his son and bowing.
"General Yuan, Thank you, but may I ask what you are doing here I thought that you were at the base in the outskirts of the Han-Fo district"
"Yes general iroh I was, but I myself have been blessed with an heir to my family"
"You have a son as well?"
"Yes, I was not given much information only that I now have an heir to my family…I know that his name is Kota so I have come to see my new son as you have…"
"Well then general I will leave you to find your wife, again my congratulations"
With that the two men departed ways, iroh going to his palace to see his son of exactly two weeks and Yuan to see his son…only his would be a bit shocking to him. For his son was actually a daughter and had been wrongly written in the letter given to the general; now the heir for his family was his only child and daughter which was very unlikely for most families at that time especially one that were of such higher status as he was.
